Crossing the Long Island Sound is for strong paddlers who want to experience a long crossing.

Starting at Bridgeport, we will make our way over to Port Jefferson, on Long Island. It is approximately twelve miles of open water, with no stops.

At the mouth of Port Jefferson, we will stop for our snack break, and then continue into the harbor, to a takeout close to the ferry.

We will go out to lunch in town, before our ferry trip back to Connecticut. Price of the ferry trip or parking is not included.
