Saugerties to Norrie Tour

Distance: 16-20 miles

Location: Town of Saugerties Glasco Mini Park, New York

Venue: Hudson River

This trip is one-way only, with a shuttle back to our departure point.

Starting at Glasco (just south of Saugerties) we head south with the tides. Paddling under the Kingston Rhinecliff Bridge we have a few possible lunch locations. Kingston Point Park will most likely be a stopping point. In the summer months a concession stand is normally open. An ice cream is a nice and well deserved snack.

From Kingston Point Park we continue south crossing the river, passing the Esopus Lighthouse and Mills Mansion on our way to Norrie State Park. The take out point will be the Norrie Marina.

From Norrie State Park we will shuttle back to Saugerties/Glasco. Make sure you bring a change of clothing in your kayak for the shuttle.
