Atlantic Kayak Tours staff have car topped kayaks for over a hundred thousand miles. While our staff uses both Thule and Yakima racks, the Paddlesport Center sells Thule racks, accessories and pods. Many of the Thule and Yakima accessories can be used on the other companys' racks.

Why spend the money on a high quality rack system? We have seen many kayaks totaled when the kayak came off the roof, sometimes still attached to an incorrect rack system. Not only can you lose your kayak, but you can kill someone driving behind you. Always use a high quality bow line and the correct fit kit.
