The Hudson River Maritime Museum
The Hudson River Maritime Museum is the only museum in New York State exclusively preserving the maritime history of the Hudson River, its tributaries, and the industries that developed around it. Indoor and outdoor exhibits on Hudson River maritime history, a gift shop, waterfront special events, and boat rides to the historic Rondout Lighthouse are available at the museum.

The Hudson River Almanac is an annual natural history journal that covers the Hudson from the High Peaks of the Adirondacks to New York Harbor. The Great Hudson River Paddle is held each July. The event is being held under the auspices of the Hudson River Watertrail Association, Inc., a non-profit corporation founded in 1992 to promote and develop a continuous water trail from New York City to the Erie Canal.
