Jack Phelan

Jack is a BCU level 3 sea coach, level 3 inland coach trainee. He has been affiliated with AKT for over 10 years. Jack is a full time outdoor educator at Friends Seminary (a private Quaker School in NYC grades K-12) and chair of the Experiential Education Department. He enjoys being with learners. Jack works mostly in the summer months for AKT in Peekskill. His favorite place to paddle (after Peekskill, of course) is the NY harbor area including Sandy Hook, Staten Island and Coney Islands. Jack is currently working toward his 5 star sea award and kayaking with his two daughters.
