The Quest Kayak is for advanced beginners and above, between 160-220 lbs. The hull is a shallow V with hard chine. The Quest is stable and tracks and turns well. It handles well when loaded. Excellent in small waves and has a nice glide. The bow volume could be a problem in surf and large following seas (may tend to pivot around bow).

The Quest has a slightly increased load capacity over kayaks in the exploration category.
