Universal Kayak Foam Blocks

This is an inexpensive alternitive to a Thule rack system. The wide soft minicel foam protects the kayak. While these have a non-slip laminate, we don't recormend putting them directly on the roof. We have seen roofs get scuffed and dented. For vehecals that have factory install racks this works well in a pinch.

Wilderness Systems says: Universal Kayak Foam Blocks are oversized 18" long by 4" wide by 3" tall and will accommodate wider heavier kayaks as well as skinnier boats. Longer base disperses boat weight over a greater portion of the roof for added stability and protection. Blocks are slit to fit on an existing "factory" rack bar allowing use as padded cradles. Blocks feature a base of non-slip laminate that grips and protects the roof. Sold individually, two required per boat.
