Take the basic Kokatat Gore-Tex Drysuit and add a spray skirt tunnel (Kokatat calls it an adjustable overskirt with smoothskin neoprene waistband). Your spray skirt fits under the top flap of the drysuit which keeps more water out of the kayak when rolling, whitewater paddling and surfing. Is it worth the extra money? It depends on the type of paddling you do. The more extreme the conditions the more the spray skirt tunnel makes sense. It does not work with skirts that have suspenders.
This drysuit also has a flap over the zipper. It does help to protect the zipper, but does also make it a bit more difficult to open and close. An added benefit is the drysuit looks better with the zipper flap.
You will want to add the relief zipper/dropseat and Gore-Tex socks to this suit.
Kokatat has both men and women version of the Meridian Drysuit.
Kokatat says: Kokatat's highly regarded Gore-Tex Meridian dry suite has been updated with the addition of a relief zipper and Gore-Tex socks. The new suit, known as the GMER, is a stocking item, meaning that you will get what you want, when you want it, rather then having to wait the customary two weeks necessary in our standard options program. These dry suits are specifically designed for kayakers - adjustable overskirt with Smoothskin neoprene waistband keeps water out of your cockpit.
