The closest thing to a drysuit. The double spray skirt tunnel allows the padder to stay dry even after a few rolls. If you don't roll you can save some money by going with a shell without the double tunnel. This is an extreme jacket for heavy duty kayaking. You will still love it on those cold or rainy days in calm conditions.

Kokatat says: This double-skirted version of our GORE-TEX Action Jacket is the perfect, non-hooded solution for keeping water out of your cockpit while paddling in heavy chop and swells. The new APT neoprene neck closure combines the comfort of a neoprene punch-through closure with the longevity and ease of use of Kokatat's adjustable paddling collar. Adjustable, Smoothskin neoprene waistband and latex wrist gaskets with protective coated Lycra over-cuffs seal out water. The zippered sleeve pocket is self-draining and accessible even when wearing a PFD.
GORE-TEX® XCR EXTENDED COMFORT
XCR stands for eXtended Comfort Range, which is exactly what you get with this amazingly comfortable, waterproof-breathable GORE-TEX fabric. In fact, XCR breathes 25% more than the "classic GORE-TEX" used in outdoor apparel and rain jackets, which means you'll stay more comfortable as you increase your level of activity in more demanding conditions. Our GORE-TEX XCR maximum performance shells and pants are an ideal choice for paddlers wanting top of the line technical features in an extremely breathable and durable 3-layer protective shell. The GORE-TEX XCR shells are completely waterproof, extremely breathable and durable. The ultra-supple, nylon face fabric sandwiches the XCR membrane between a moisture dispersing scrim on the inside for protection and durability of the membrane. GORE-TEX Certified seam tape permanently seals out the water so you stay dry.
