Outfitters Series PVC

This is the skirt we give to all new clients. The PVC deck puts up with lots of abuse, while the nylon tube feels good. Before we switched to PVC skirts we used the standard nylon skirts, but found the waterproof coating would not hold up on the deck.

For the money, these spary skirts are great. The downside of these spray skirts, as with any non-neoprene skirt is that they don't keep you dry when rolling or playing. The reason we use PVC/nylon spray skirts over neoprene spray skirts is that they are very easy to remove underwater. They usually come off the cockpit in a capsize and you can always push out of the kayak, if you forget to pull the grab loop. Normally they are made with adjustable shockcord so the skirt can be adjusted to be tight or loose on the cockpit.
