Note: These programs are designed for people with previous paddling experience. We don't do any training before the program starts. We need to get out quick and all paddle as a group. The Norrie Short Tour is designed for first time paddlers.

6-25 Full Moon Paddle
Enjoy an evening on our beautiful stretch of the Hudson. The full moon rises as we wind up our paddle trip.
7-2 Tune Up Your Strokes
Maneuver your kayak with more skill and less work. We will work on a variety of strokes to make your paddling more enjoyable.
7-9 Nature Along the Hudson
Take a paddle of 3-4 miles to enjoy the birds and other beauties of nature along the river.
7-23 Full Moon Paddle
The moon rises about 7:00 and should light our way to a nice evening on the river.
7-30 Efficient Paddling
We will help you cover more distance with less effort, as we work on improving our forward paddle strokes.
8-6 Nature Along the Hudson
Take a paddle of 3-4 miles to enjoy the birds and other beauties of nature along the river.
8-13 Let's Get Wet - Rescue and Balance Practice
What happens if you fall in? We will get comfortable with assisted and solo rescues. Come prepared to cool off in the water.
8-20 Nature at Twilight
Dusk is coming sooner as the days shorten. Join us for a sunset paddle of 3-4 miles to experience nature on the river.
8-27 Night Paddling Primer
We will share tips on safely paddling in the dark, as we enjoy sundown on the Hudson.
9-3 Dark of the Moon Paddle
Your senses will come alive as light fades and we experience the wonderful feel of paddling in the dark.
