The kids had an opportunity to try sea, polo and whitewater kayaks. Not only did their paddling skills improve, they also played kayak polo, journeyed on the Hudson, participated in individually timed races, made new friends and had lots of laughs.
Logistics
Cost: $220
Kids must not have a fear of the water. Kids kayaks, paddles and PFDs will be provided. What you need to bring: sun screen, towel, change of clothes, water shoes or sandals and a sense of adventure.
Age limit: Must be entering 2nd grade in the coming year.
Rain Policy: Program will run even in the rain. Credit for the day will be given if we are not able to get on the water. Credit can be applied towards a retail purchase, tour, or instructional. Credit expires at end of season.
